This easy and delicious maple glazed sweet potatoes dish makes for a perfect sweet side for Thanksgiving or any meal. Serve alongside savory dishes for a delightful flavor contrast. Made in a cast iron skillet, the sweet potatoes are baked until crispy on the outside and soft inside, then mixed with a sweet maple glaze and pecans for an added crunch.

Instructions

1: Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into your desired shape/size. Note: cooking time will vary on size.

2: Get a large oven safe skillet going over medium heat. Add in a couple tablespoons of ghee. Once melted, add in the potatoes, season with salt then mix. Make sure they're evenly distributed on the pan.

3: Pop the potatoes into the oven at 400°F. Let cook until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, around 25-35 minutes.

4: Once they're about done, remove them from the oven. Add the maple glaze and the chopped pecans. Give it a good mix then place them back into the oven for another 8-10 minutes.

5: Top with an extra sprinkle of salt and cinnamon then ENJOY!
